Frequently Asked Questions

Based on current liquor licensing laws, the client is required to purchase the alcohol we serve.  However, based on your desired menu, we provide you with an itemized shopping list as well as provide everything else you need for your bartending service.  In addition, we partner with a local liquor store so you can save extra moola!!

We are based out of Cortez, CO and serve the Four Corners region (CO, NM, UT, AZ). Our general rule of thumb is that we travel anywhere within a 60 mile radius, but don’t be afraid to reach out if you are a bit farther! We charge a $2/mile travel fee for any location greater than 60 miles away; this accounts for gasoline & extra traveling time to get to you! 

Yes! We carry general liability insurance, as well as liquor liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request.

For any permits that may be needed it is the clients responsibility to secure those. Generally, if your event is held on private property you will not need to secure any permits. If you have any questions, please email us, or reach out to your local municipality or police department regarding permitting.

 The Buckskin Bar trailer is approximately 8 feet tall, 12.5 feet long and 7.5 feet wide. 

We require a minimum 50% deposit.  Short-term notice bookings may require a larger deposit. Without a deposit there is no professional relationship established.  

We accept cash or credit card payments via our online invoices with Square.

We understand some circumstances are beyond your control, however deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to get another booking for the same date/time.  Additionally, once the final payment is made- it cannot be refunded. 

 In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate if you wish to reschedule. The client is responsible for any outdoor tents if necessary. The Buckskin Bar does not provide any tents or other gear in the event of rain.
