About Us

It has been our dream to create a business that goes beyond just an ordinary bar rental. Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience with your next big event that will have people talking about it for years to come.

Although we just opened The Buckskin Bar in 2019, this is our fourth year owning and operating our food truck, The Little Pink Truck. We have been serving homemade soups, salads and sandwiches throughout Western Colorado since 2015. We pride ourselves in the homemade, chef inspired food we serve out of our food truck. You might have seen us at local festivals or at the downtown farmers market in Grand Junction. We enjoy satisfying our customers with fresh, local, homemade food. It has been this amazing experience that has given us the confidence to build a one-of-a-kind-bar trailer business, The Buckskin Bar.

The idea of building The Buckskin Bar came to us after we catered our own wedding in September 2018. We had The Little Pink Truck serving not only food, but drinks out of it as well! Although is was crammed with the food, kegs and cases of wine, it made for an unforgettable experience for us and all our guests. This is where the idea was born. Why not make this memorable, unique experience for others to enjoy?

Keeping with the horse trailer theme, (The Little Pink Truck is an old four horse trailer) we decided to purchase a vintage two horse trailer that has seen nearly forty years of hauling horses around. Countless hours of planning, fabricating, painting, and customizing went into this old horse trailer before deemed ready for operation. All of the work has been done by hand and we pride ourselves in the craftsmanship that makes it a one-of-a-kind bar.

We have been happily married since September 2018 and we have been working side by side in our food truck for years. We have three dogs and a lovely home in downtown Grand Junction. Patricia had always dreamed of owning a catering business as she had a deep love for cooking. After culinary school she made her dreams a reality and went ahead and purchased her own food truck in late 2015.  With Patricia‘s dream and Luke’s degree in business, The Little Pink Truck has been a great success. Luke has bartended and managed several different bars around Grand Junction. You can feel confident with working with us as we have years of experience in this industry and a dedication to make your event memorable.
